"And I don't accept you as the arbiter of right and wrong (we objectivists like to sort those things out for ourselves)."
Which could explain why liberal talk radio has such a hard time finding an audience. It stems from a mindset that "right and wrong" are not self-evident concepts, but rather something that comes from the decision of some arbiter. And, that since liberals don't recognize anyone as a valid arbiter, it's everyone for themselves as to what is and isn't proper behaviour. Then again, the concept of "proper" behaviour is also a rejected.
This makes it very difficult for a liberal talk show host to manage to resonate with a large, mass audience.
"I will make a deal with you."
And another characteristic of the liberal mindset that makes programming liberal talk difficult. Since there is no such thing as "right and wrong", everything is subject to some sort of negotiated deal. And, if anyone changes their mind about the deal, then it gets re-negotiated.
So, this is not a "deal". It's a simple statement of my intentions, regardless of what anyone else does. If no one spams the boards with a plethora of redundant threads, I will not comment on the absence of the redundant threads. If I see something that inspires me to make a comment, I shall make a comment. But if something about which I have commented in the past ceases to happen in the future, then I'll have no reason to make further comments on that which no longer exists.
