NY Radio Historian Calls Michael Kay A "Clown"

In his latest "Apple Bites" column, Vince Santarelli in his "Editor's Note" says of 1050 ESPN's Michael Kay's PBP work on the YES Network:

"Five words that bring joy and happiness to the hearts of New York Yankee fans everywhere - “Michael Kay is off tonight.” Seriously, how can the greatest sports franchise in the world have a clown like this as their lead television play-by-play man... And how about that world famous home run call, “TRACK, WALL, SEE YA!” Just another example of Michael proving how much he means to himself. It’s always about Michael Kay, isn’t it..."

Gee, I wonder what Mr. Santarelli's thoughts are on John Sterling? ???

After watching Michael Kay every night for the past many years and reading Santarelli's rant today about Michael Kay, my only conclusion is that Kay is a professional and Santarelli is not.

A 'clown' and a 'moron' who 'belongs in a garbage dump'? "New York Yankee fans everywhere.....etc" Jesus Christ. Doesnt this guy know how to express his own opinion on a sports personality without taking personal shots and implying that the masses agree with his assessment?
