If Percocet had a radio show, it would probably be #1!!! ;D

At CD 101.9, no one wants to admit it, but they goota either pull the plug and sell it, change formats and make a go of it (emmis won't spend the $) or keep it as a soft jazz pseudo urban mix that competes with it;s sister station. KISS is bleeding a slow death in the revenue category and is down tremendously since BLS started to put the pedal to the metal. I ask you public...is there something that Jeff Smulyan is missing? Why do you think the shareholders want to sell CD 101.9? The shareholders realize that they can't turn it around to make a go at it. Billing slightly over 1 million a month, a NY station....come on. Turn off the signal or make a go for it. Change the management, change the format...do something. The stock holders need to get their money back or see some value long term here. YES...it's aggravating

QCD had $20.1 million in 2005 and $14.8 in 2006.
The highest was WLTW, $65.6 in 2006, $59.8 in 2005. Lowest last year was WEPN at $10.3. In 2005, $7.8.

Another waste of space on the radio dial. Why would they want to sell it off to someone who could potentially enter the market and make money with it or compete for the same money?
housemusic said:first of all, kiss is not one of the top 10 or even top 20 billing stations in the country mr eduardo. i appreciate your insight, but truth be told...they are down all across the ny cluster and someone needs to be held accountable and changes need to be implemented now. shareholders want value, this company is not going provate so quickly. put your money where your mouth is and lets bet on it.

Given the lack of ratings that nearly comparable full class B stations like WFME get, is there nearly as much of a demand?
