NY1 To Rebrand To "Time Warner Cable News"

The difference News 12 has wide distribution on Comcast and some other cable companies. NY1 is mostly of Time Warner Systems

Yeah they carry it in both North and South Carolina. So even people hundreds of miles away know the NY1 brand.

This is a moronic rebrand.

After twenty years NY1 needs new graphics. NYC's official colors, blue and orange, have to go. Time Warner should take a cue from News12 on visual presentation.

Even Bright House (Time Warner programmed) systems in Orlando and Tampa carry NY1

I'm wondering, since NY1 is seen in so many other cities, are any those local news channels available here?
I know that Cablevision has an interactive News12 that allows viewers to watch reports, traffic and weather and also a daily archived newscast from any of their systems on demand.

Other than importing a local NY weather cast for their 11 pm news from one of their other systems, are any other TWC News services available here in NY?
