NYC Arbitron Radio Ratings: Holiday 2011

"Lite-FM" had good numbers in the holiday PPM, but it went from 12 share down to an 11 share. Playing Christmas music became more popular throughout the holiday season, but it plays way too much. After the holiday season, the station decided to dumped 70's music completely to go a bit towards Hot AC like "Fresh" and WPLJ combined. CBS-FM on the other hand plays a lot of 70's in its rotation, but it did really well, if you look at the recent Poughkeespie fall book, WGNY's "Fox Oldies" at 98.9 did slightly increased to 3.7 on the FM side, but on AM, it went down, but "Fox Oldies" plays almost the same as CBS-FM does with the exception of 50's music playing in the mix, just like the old CBS-FM circa 1972-2005 during the Bill Brown and Joe McCoy eras.

As for the rest of the ratings, not bad.
