Off topic: WKSL in Raleigh moved to Top 40 (owned by CC) when they already own heritage G105 (CC owns them) in the market. It does not make any sense to compete against yourself! CC in NYC needs to make KTU dance and flip Power to Alternative...

Which stations? NONE. NONE. NONE. NONE. NONE. NONE. NONE. NONE.

Have you caught on yet? NONE.

Which stations are going to change formats in NYC?

NONE!

Which station is doing SO TERRIBLE THEY HAVE TO FLIP?

According to you, every station that doesn't exactly meet your own personal tastes.

What's the reality?

Nobody's flipping. Get off it, man.

Power, Z-100 and KTU have significantly and substantially different cume bases.

Together, the three bill $100 million. The 80 total commercial stations in the MSA bill $580 million.

There is no way that KTU is going to blow up $30 million in revenue, nor is Power going to dismiss $20 million to change format. And Clear Channel as a company can not afford to lose those huge revenue streams and significant cash flows.

WAXQ -- top 5 in 6+, top 5 in 25-54, top 5 in 18-49, even coming it at #9 in 18-34 playing old music.

It should do good they have 0 competition.

Can you imagine what #s Z100 would get if KTU,NOW,PLJ all flipped to classical.

Again No competition for CC. Another reason for CBS & Cumulus to flip something to Rock. NYC radio is a sucky market. it's absolutely horrible for variety. our stations suck except for Z, Lite, PLJ, Nash, CBS, Q 104.3, Hot 97, BLS, what do we have that's good? Nothing else it's all the same garbage on the radio. Zero variety and 9 of the same songs on each of the stations!
