In the overall ratings, the two Hispanic stations owned by SBS- La Mega 97.9 and 93.1 Amor slumped. Meanwhile rival La X 96.3, owned by Univision, did better than usual. It'll be interesting to see in the next few months whether this is the beginning of a trend, or an outlier.

CHR is doing decently (for the most part) across the country from the looks of it. One would think it would not be doing as well due to streaming and not a lot of product in comparison to years past.

WLTW's cume is up to 3.7m! I'd imagine that's fairly close to where it was back in February/March 2020, and it seems like cume is generally up everywhere this book. Will be interesting to see if their cume does in fact recover right back to where it was pre pandemic.

Just when everyone thought they were left for dead, 880 WCBS's ratings are actually increasing, and it's doing better than WINS on Long Island.

But no WABC in the NJ ratings?

If you mean the Trenton or the Atlantic City books, they are likely not subscribed.

WCBS probably got a little bump due to Mets coverage.
WNEW is programmed quite well and is likely the predominant reason for it's recent success. WPLJ has been gone for years and wasn't a real factor in the NY radio scene for years prior to its demise.

I think the Mets are helping their ratings. And as far back as I can remember 880 always did better than WINS on Long Island, in Connecticut &. NJ

And that is why 880 was content-tailored for the suburbs and 1010 was aimed at Manhattan and the Boroughs (or, as in a post I just read elsewhere, "the Burros").

Listening to both, what I hear now is a lot more national politics and news on 880, while 1010 is very much a local news service, they rarely venture into national political stuff and prefer to stick to local politics, crime, business, traffic. I much prefer the latter, it's a unique product while there are a thousand places on broadcast and online where you can get as much politics as you can take without gagging.

Cause there is no other choice in the market for Hot AC music… though WNEW never is as high as WLTW they are successful even beating WKTU and WHTZ at times which WNEW also competes with in addition to WLTW.

Hot A/C stations WALK 97.5 and Star 99.9/WEZN also reach parts of the market.
WNEW has several commercial-free hours scattered throughout the day, not just mornings. I wonder if that has boosted their ratings considerably.
