NYC radio hasn't been this exciting in a while

We have 3 big events in the radio landscape within a month. May 18, 106.3 launches. Till that date, it is stunting with a new format every day. 96.7 is poised to launch any day. And on May 21, the world will end or Family Radio 94.7 makes a fool out of itself.

Hasn't been so exciting since February 2008 with RXP and Pulse 87 launching within days of each other.
 
actually, I heard that the 106.3 translator will be launching the new format tomorrow, May 12. At least that's what they said although none of this will be important after the end of the world. Enjoy it while it lasts. ;D
 
as far as the may 21`s date i was hoping to make it at least to the dec. 2012 date. ;D
 
I'm sorry, but if (when) nothing happens, Harold Camping should step down from radio and surrender all of his licenses. This guy HAS TO GO! ::)

I really, sincerely, PRAY that on May 22'nd, the bill collectors will demand payment, and he has to sell *ALL* of his radio stations! Then, he can go crawl under a ROCK, as he SO TOTALLY deserves to! :mad:

I am a Bible-believing Christian. This man is an utter embarrassment to the Christian community. The Bible he so stupidly claims supports his nonsense, actually STRICTLY and unmistakably PROHIBITS this date-setting nonsense. So much for his alleged claims to actually READ and study the Good Book, eh? Sigh. :mad:
 
Willie, I don't like Harold Camping one bit more than you do...but I doubt his operation is going much of anywhere after May 22, simply because there are no bill collectors coming to collect any debt. He owns his signals outright, and has never (as best I can tell) taken on debt buying any of them. He owns most of his own real estate. What's left - power and phone bills?
 
And he would also get earthquake insurance for all of his property since he believes that there will be a great earthquake on May 21 at 6:00 PM in every time zone.

All those billboards, all around the WORLD... that HAD to have cost them a pretty penny! ???

Also... hopefully, 99.5% of the people who have been listening AND supporting them, will STOP. (They should have stopped as soon as he STARTED this mess, but that's beside the point.) No more revenue means no more paying the electric, employees, insurance, etc.

This whole thing is SO EMBARRASSING to the Cause of Christ, I can't even begin to describe it!

Let him go DARK, as he so deserves to! :mad:
 
Now that I think of it, the 2 things we anticipated (96.7 and 106.3) may very likely not be happening this month, and we'll have to wait and see if Family Radio's prediction comes true.

Camping's listeners sycophants will never disavow of his "teachings." Nor will they ask for a refund. They didn't in 1992 when he was wrong the first time around. Why should they now? They actually BELIEVE the stuff that spews out of his mouth.

Look at how long that old whacko Ralph Gordon Stair has suckered people out of millions of dollars so he can spread false prophesy from Good ol' Walterboro, South Carolina... the fact that people can be such dupes is really scary.

Although it would be funny for an atheist organization to sue Camping for 'misleading advertising.' :)
 
Why not bring in Sarah Connor, Arnold Schwarzegger and the rest of "The Terminator" to join Family Radio and saying "I'll Be Back!"

If Harold Camping let them go on May 21st which is a week from now, we're all going to be killed. That's not going to happen with this world. We've been there since an asteroid hits the Earth a billion years ago and all of the Dinosaurs are wiped off the map. I don't care for him, he's a false prophet. Maybe Billy Graham will take over and he will be apologizing Camping for saying something went wrong. It's only a week from now until the end. So let's not going to worry about this planet. Matthew 24:36 from the Bible says "No one knows the day or the hour of his return". As Michael Jackson would say "Just beat it!"

We've been over this, the earthquake in Japan, the death of Bin Laden and another earthquake in Spain. Let's hope the world will not end until an asteroid called Apophis will hit Earth by 2036. That will be another 26 years.

I guess that WFRH in Kingston, NY, another Family Radio affiliate at 91.7 will be pulling the plug until the May 21st date comes. This is actually the first time since Orson Welles did with the "War of the Worlds" radio broadcast from 1938.

Don't let this happen to you. Don't listen to Family Radio, or don't pay any attention to the billboards and Harold Camping. He's a false prophet, and he will never do that again!
