O&A Turns The Numbers Around

It was just a trend. No reason to get excited nor depressed.

Two months till the real numbers come out.

I'm waiting for the Doghouse Armchair QB's waiting to say that it's their hour that lifted O&A up.

Starscream,

If the numbers that have been posted are real, that is really cool for O & A and WFNY. However, the station did not move at all in the 12+ still a 1.2. And again we need to remember this is just a trend and not a full book. All the best

PS. The trend does still hold JV and Elvis in the 9-10am part of the numbers.

I personally would like to see The Dog House numbers up and the rest of the station stink...

I would be happy with The Doghouse in the morning and the rest of the station flipping back to rock. Not gonna happen, but my opinion.

The Doghouse in the morning slot and some quality informative personality jocks who can handle the music during the rest of the day.
Pat St. John, Richard & Dan Neer...

Great insight Deadman, you're really educated...

I'm in SF and a listener of them for a decade. I don't get them here in SF cause we are stuck with Corolla. I wish them the best.

O and A do not respect Elvis and JV, so why should I care if O and A does well?

O&A had no problem with JV and Elvis until they bad mouth them on the air. I tried listening to the doghouse and they really don't entertain me. It's nothing personal with them. The deal is this: if Free-FM NYC does well, then JV and Elvis have a chance to be syndicated all over the country possibly bundled with O&A. Do you think if Free-FM bombs that JV and Elvis will be there? I think they see themselves out of a job. Swallow your pride and support Free-FM...

O&A and The Dog House do seem cool with each other now.

JV & Elvis weren't bad mouthing them on the air. They were pissed about 25 minutes of straight commercials because O&A hadn't taken any. Us Dog House fans thought the show was suspended that day or something because of massive commercial after commercial. JV even said, look man I'd not have even brought it up on the air if I had heard you guys say thanks for going over. JV & Elvis tried to be the cooler heads during that exchange, but that didn't last very long. Ego's came out flaring on both sides.

Really though, it doesn't matter, today both shows seem to have respect for each other at the minimum and are probably cool with each other.

I would agree. Listening to O&A the past few days, it seems there's a mutual understanding between the two shows, especially when Opie mentioned that H-Cup Jane was being checked out by JV and Elvis.

So that's a good thing for WFNY......Let the all the shows work together....and the world of talk radio might get along...
