Everyone better take a look at 106.5 The Promise Website...........They say they have a new home.....well guess what........106.5 The Promise maybe fliping formats within the week it seems to be. This is for Jax.

What's COX up to with new acquisition WBGB (106.5)/JACKSONVILLE? The station is in full-on cunning stunting mode with a looped announcement that runs about 10 minutes long. It's very radio-inside, as the scenario is of the GM of the station talking to his staff and suggesting they name the station after him ... JACK!
The GM goes on to hint at references to Sports, Talk, Dance, and Spanish ... with the stunt ending with the OPIE & ANTHONY theme song, along with the repeated reminder to listen THURSDAY (9/21). Alas, there is no time indicated for the tune in. Standby!
It'll be interesting to see. A flip to talk is possible, but like I said in the other thread, Opie and Anthony are only on CBS stations.

No they're not. Their home is a CBS station, and they're on a lot of CBS stations, but they're also on a lot of Citadel stations and one Nassau station.
