o and a show up and then...

[email protected] has shifted. yea it still seems to be variety hits. but it is predomintly 80s and 90s. i have heard nine inch nails, new ozzy, garbage, filter and much more. i havent heard any chaka kaun, frank sinatra, doris day or anything like it. not today. yesterday i heard johnny cash but today its diffrent. and this after they were off the air fro about 3 hours this morning froom 1 till at least 4am. listen. see if you can hear a change. its all rock hits. no dance. now when i say rock hits i dont mean active or mainstream rock. sly and the family stone was rock. linda ronstat was rock..james taylor, and even sonny and cher(which isnt being played :)

oh yea its no longer 70s 80s and whatever..its i play whatever red@937

Yeah smash... a buddy of mine told me that there is a clear switch... and that BR diva is done.
We'll see.

Red stuff

WOW!! Look at that playlist...Buddy Holly and the Crickets to Nine Inch Nails...that's "WHATEVER" LOL...I'm liking the station more than previously.  Diva BR was a dumb idea (redundancy of coverage/format)  I'd like to see NOLA Diva end up with a true dance format...more 90s and 00s tunes...limit the disco...leave the AC and urban tunes out.

As far as WCDV, what does BR need now? Numerous formats have failed on this frequency.

103.3 was last a continder when it was country way in the 1990s as Kajun IMO.. but I find Diva BR is more dance than NOLA, as 92.3 plays more and more pop of today.

Red was classic hits on first couple of days after flipping then went variety hits.. too much out of line.... Now the station is pretty much a clasic hits station with some out of the ordinary songs on the playlist but pretty much the new playlist styling is the kind of classic hits station I like... Sort of take a lot of the softer stuff Eagle plays, add newer artists and that's the basics of the Red playlist IMO.

Didn't get a chance to hear O and A due to skip.. so I can't right now compare them now to how they were in NOLA in 2002...

Porno for Pyros-Tahitian Moon was the most obscure song I could find in Red's playlist. Fond memories of 100.7 The Tiger. *sniffs*

P.S. It's 11:00 now and I've been listening to Red online (since I'm now living in Houston) since 6:30 and haven't been bored.

****HEADLINE****

Filter-Hey Man, Nice Shot is not a "Jack" station type of song...seems too deep into the "whatever"...something is up....

Check it out...12:07 AM

Steven.
