O and D take over middays?

I've been following O and Dukes since they left Free FM in Arizona. They were one of my favorite shows out here. I saw on their myspace that WJFK is now streaming their show on the web from 1-3pm and well as during their show from 7-11pm. WJFK has O and A on in middays who are losing markets left and right. I would bet that Big O and Dukes take over that slot by next year and this streaming move is a pre-curser to that. Any thoughts?

I would think the Junkies would have more to worry about. They have had soft ratings since day one, and quite frankly, their show is amateurish. Especially for major market.

If O&D go to middays, expect O&A to go to mornings live.

Thats possible. I have heard the afternoon drive show is ending in may. Maybe move O and A to mornings, the Junkies to PM drive and O and D to middays? Sounds like plan.

O and D announced on their Myspace that they will be filling in for Jim Rome who is on from 1-3pm on WJFK. Maybe JFK dumps rome and o and a for a local midday show? If so, I hope they syndicate to Phoenix!

O & Dukes are frequently pre-empted by Terps basketball, so WJFK is getting their money's worth by moving them to middays on those days that Rome is not on.

Pretty much every station I've worked at follows the same procedure for that type of situation.
