TOM JOYNER will remain on in CHICAGO, writes ROBERT FEDER in THE CHICAGO SUN-TIMES. In signing a multiyear renewal last week for JOYNER's DALLAS-based syndicated morning show, CLEAR CHANNEL silenced talk of changes to Urban AC WVAZ (V103), which has been JOYNER's outlet here since 1996. So, who is Soul 106 going to pick up for mornings? At one time, there were rumors they would get Tom after V103 dropped him.
 
They have some lady (106.3) on in the morning...boring as hell.....

I did hear a rumor that Radio One might be buying v103.....Seems like a far fetched rumor...but since TJMS is on Radio One outlets and Steve Harvey is on clear channel stations, it makes you wonder....
