Oak Ridge Boys

There is a new AM station here in Las Vegas..790 KBET. Their real format isn't ready yet. In the meantime they have been playing loops of music. One of their loops features a lot of Oak Ridge Boys hits (as well as songs from the Kingston Trio and ABBA, what an eclectic mix). I didn't have full appreciation for how good they were when they were at their peak of popularity. But after listening to this loop many times I have become an Oak Ridge Boys fan.My favorite Oak Ridge Boys song is "I Guess It Never Hurts to Hurt Sometimes".

That one is a goody. I've never been a big country fan, more neutral, but like those guys.
My dad's a country fan.

I also like their, "Oh Elizabeth." A good heartbreak song.

My favorite Oaks song is "Dream On." I saw them in concert at their peak in Memphis with Exile and The Indian and The White Guy. Great show! The Oaks and The Statlers, now that's country!

I like Dream On as well.

The song, if I recall correctly, was originally done by the Righteous Bros., but wasn't a big hit.
