Should KCBS 740 AM or a station in the bay area with a strong signal should take over the radio broadcast rights to air the A's in 2007? WCBS 880 AM airs the Yankess. Why can't the same thing happen on KCBS?
better yet, why don't they let 106.9 free fm or movin 99.7 play the games?Julius May said:Should KCBS 740 AM or a station in the bay area with a strong signal should take over the radio broadcast rights to air the A's in 2007? WCBS 880 AM airs the Yankess. Why can't the same thing happen on KCBS?

In defense of the A's, they HAVE sold-out the coliseum this year. Attendance has been great and the team has played well. Obviously.
The reason they aren't on a larger station is purely & simply $$$$
