Oakland A's On KDIA & KDYA

Here's the scuttlebutt I heard...

The Oakland A's may be moving their game broadcasts to KDYA/1190 and KDIA/1640 next season.

Their Spanish-language broadcasts, that is...

Rumor only at this moment.

So does that mean there'll a rumour that KDIA/KDYA will change
to a Spanish-oriented format, also?

Makes little sense to me, otherwise...unless you're a brokered
or "pay radio" station, in which you can have several audiences
(witness KJAY 1430 in Sacramento and KNRY 1240 in Monterey)...

Plus, KDIA does not get good South Bay coverage at night, last
I tuned in when in San Jose, and 1190 KDYA is doomed to be a
daytimer for the forseeable future...

What? And miss the "Back to the Bible Broadcast"? Tell me it isn't true!
