Obit: Al Brady Law, WABC PD

First heard of him as "Big Al Brady" on WWDJ 970 I would peg it as 1971. A memorable jock, high energy. Was surprised to see his name as the programmer of WABC in their waning days as a music station, as I remembered him as just a DJ on 97 DJ! But he had to have been a good manager as he also was in involved with the great sounding early 80's WYNY 97.1. Sorry to hear about his passing.

@BobSmolarek: Law had taken over WABC in 1979 just months after programming the then-new "Q107" in Washington upon its debut.

There's an account that Law was the brainchild behind a tagline used in an ad campaign that doubled as an inside joke: "We play the most music allowed by law." ::)
