Obit: Andy Rooney, 92

Wow. I guess his work really was his life.

I had long thought that he was not looking or sounding at all good and that
CBS had kept him on far too long. Maybe it was the very thing that kept him going.

Actually, his death had nothing to do with his retirement; he'd died from complications following surgery.

It's interesting that his death came some 20 years after his good buddy (and former 60 Minutes co-host) Harry Reasoner died of a blood clot following a fall, a few months after his own retirement from the program.
