Obit: Bill Rafferty ("Real People," "Card Sharks"), 68

Wow we are losing a lot of TV people this year! Bill Rafferty hosted the syndicated Card Sharks, while Bob Eubanks hosted the CBS version at the same time around the late 1980s.

I think it was Rafferty who hosted the game show "Every Second Counts" in 1982-83, which was probably shown in late-nights in most markets. As I worked night shift, it was something nice to watch. There's one on YouTube.

Too bad about him.
