Obit: Bob Banner, 89, TV producer

I think he also produced "The Garry Moore Show," which introduced
much of America to Carol Burnett, and on which "Candid Camera" was
a regular segment for about a year before becoming a Sunday-night
fixture on CBS (1960-67).

You are correct, sir! And the gent wins a cigar. ;)

As far as Ms. Burnett's own show is concerned, Mr. Banner co-owns the first five years' worth of shows (132 editions), which is why none of the sketches from those early years ever turned up in half-hour episode form on the syndicated Carol Burnett & Friends, nor were any complete shows from 1967-72 ever released on DVD. He even served as an uncredited executive producer of the show in its first three seasons.
