Obit: Bob Ellsworth

I moved to Connecticut in 1968 and don't remember Bob Ellsworth on the WTIC-TV (channel 3) news at 11 PM. I recall Bill Hanson on at that time, when they had a 15-minute news show followed by a 5-minute weather and 5-minute sports show. It looked very "old school" even at the time, with hardly any newsfilm, and just a "NEWS ch 3" sign on the wall in back of the announcer.

In any case, it seems like Bob Ellsworth was all over the place on the radio and TV in Connecticut. I remember he hosted a ten-pin bowling show on WATR-TV (channel 20) show around 1970 or so.
