Obit: "Captain" Lou Albano, 76

Sources including the one above claim he invented the phrase "often imitated, never duplicated"... I always thought that was invented by certain radio stations. ;)
 
Not to mention a great wrestling manager.

If you go to en.wikipedia.org and search for Captain Lou Albano you will find all the different wrestlers he has managed over the years.

It's like a who's who of wrestling from the 70's and 80's.
 
A true loss of one of wrestling's true one-of-a-kind, colorful characters. I always wondered though, what was he a "captain" of? :-\ ???

sorry to break this to ya but...Captain Kangaroo wasn't a military man or a marsupial either.
