Obit: Dixie Carter, 70; "Designing Women", "Diff'rent Strokes"

Re: Obit: Dixie Carter, 70; "Designing Women", "Diff'rent Strokes"

What a shame. Apparently the family wants their privacy so I'll just say she was a beautiful woman inside & out.

Did they ever explain (on Diff'rent Strokes) how the part of Mrs. Drummond was played by Carter on one season of the show, followed by Mary Ann Mobley the next! ??? They looked nothing alike, didn't even have the same hair color, if memory serves!
