Obit: Don Galloway at 67...Was Det. Sgt Ed Brown on "Ironside"

You mean Galloway; Brown was his character's name.
I wonder if anyone remembers what was probably the
low point in his career: a 1979 syndicated show, "The
Guinness Game," on which contestants bet on whether
or not a guest would perform a stunt quickly enough to
get him or her into the Guinness Book of World Records.
IIRC, Bob Hilton replaced him before the show was canceled.

On "The Secret Storm," he was the first actor to play
Kip Rysdale, Amy Ames' (Jada Rowland) first of three
husbands (the others were Paul Britton and Kevin Kincaid).

A note of clarification: Paul Britton and Kevin Kincaid
were characters, not actors; I believe David Ackroyd
(no relation to Dan Aykroyd) played Kevin. Paul was
one of Amy's professors; Kevin was, IIRC, a journalist
who'd been paralyzed from the waist down, was in a
wheelchair, and on the last episode got up, took a few
halting steps, and collapsed on the floor beside Amy and
the kids. But I'm not about to ask Jada Rowland, who
showed me about as much warmth as Fargo, ND, tonight.
