Mr. Steiner created themes for such TV shows as "Gunsmoke," "The Twilight Zone," "The Bulwinkle Show," "Have Gun, Will Travel," "Rawhide," "Hogan's Heroes" and "Perry Mason."

...Steiner did not compose the theme music for The Twilight Zone; the original TZ theme was by Bernard Herrmann, and the later theme was by Marius Constant. Steiner did, however, compose musical scores for seven Twilight Zone episodes. I'm also fairly positive the theme march for Hogan's Heroes was by Jerry Fielding, not Steiner...

Although Alexander Courage penned the original Star Trek theme and Jerry Goldsmith did the same for the Next Generation series and the theatrical movies, Steiner did a lot of the scoring and incidental music for most of the episodes of the original Star Trek which aired on NBC. He was a very busy utility player for the musical scoring of a lot of Hollywood theatrical and TV productions.
