OBIT: Gary Coleman Dies at 42

From the Boston Herald:

Gary Coleman, the child star of the smash 1970s TV sitcom "Diff’rent Strokes" whose later career was marred by medical and legal problems, has died after suffering an intercranial hemorrhage. He was 42.

Utah Valley Regional Medical Center spokeswoman Janet Frank says life support was terminated and Coleman died at 12:05 p.m. MDT.

Such a shame. He was quite the funny little kid. It's a shame he didn't get to enjoy his adult life

RIP

"whatchu dying about, Willis?"

With Facebook the story is spreading like wildfire. I got the story from 4 different sources - WFSB/3 in Hartford, The Hartford Courant, some radio station somewhere down South, and from The NY Post. Then my FB friend Tony Santiago posted it on his FB page. Some one on The NY Post's Facebook page commented "Whatcu talking about, NY Post?"

What else can you say about this story other than...

His life was short lived.

He never seemed to reach his potential.

Another career cut short.

He always looked up to his co-stars.

Wow!

But seriously, condolences.

I hope you folks didn't mean that. Let him rest in peace.

A pure example that fame & fortune doesn't necessarily bring happiness. He was a tortured soul. R. I. P.
