Obit: Heinz Probst, 76

Heinz had been ill for some time. It was the illness that forced him to give up the radio show and then move to the Indianapolis area. He was one of the longest broadcasters on WOBO and his show had many many listeners. R.I.P.

His influence in bringing German music to those who had an ear for it was monumental.

He served his community well and will be missed.

Mr. Probst was a really good man. He was a pro, and I remember seeing his home studio, a long time ago. It was built like a radio studio in his basement. I met him while at WHOH and again at WOBO.
