Obit: Jeanne Cooper ("Young and the Restless"), at 84

Ms. Cooper played wealthy on-and-off alcoholic Katherine Chancellor (as well as a lookalike waitress named Marge for a time) for 4 decades on Y&R, as well a brief crossover appearance on Bold and the Beautiful. She won a Lead Actress Daytime Emmy in 2008 for her role, as well as a Lifetime Achievement award at the 2004 Daytime Emmy awards. One of her children is actor Corbin Bernsen.

She had been hospitalized twice in recent weeks, updates of which were posted on Bernsen's Facebook page. She passed away this morning with daughter Caren at her side.

I enjoyed it. I would have preferred more clips and fewer comments from the cast.

It was nice to see Traci again. And John. Does he age as a ghost?

I assume that was her final scene at the end. Wow.

Why no clips from the other Jill?

I'm guessing that after all the ugliness/lawsuit stuff from the past, that they probably didn't even consider asking Brenda Dickson to be a part of it -- or want to include her clips in the ep. They didn't include pix or clips with Thom Bierdz (Phillip Chancellor III) either.

I forgot about Brenda Dickson. That makes two Jills that were missing.
