Ditto to that! I enjoyed his movie work, as well as "Amos Moses", "When You're Hot, You're Hot", & "She Got The Goldmine(I Got The Shaft)". Thanks, Jerry, for the memories. :'(
You can't leave out "Eastbound and Down". My radio station plays all of these, by the way.

I finally saw "Smokey and the Bandit" a year or so ago. I can't believe it took that long.

I saw him in "Gator" just a few weeks ago and he was great, though I hated what his character did.
 
Sunny 1100 WGPA acknowledged the death of Jerry Reed on Saturday during the classic country hr. To my knowlegde no country FM in my area mentioned the death. Even of they did, the Soccer moms who think Tim Mcgraw is country would not have known who he was anyway.
