Obit: Jerry Wallace, "primrose Lane", at 79

The song I'll always remember was the one Featured in an episode of "Night Gallery", "If You Leave Me Tonight I'll Cry". I've carried that song in my head since. It was the one Chubby Howard played today in his tribute segment for Mr. Wallace.

He had some other nice songs: "Cotton Candy World" (a fine and dandy cotton candy world with you...) and "In the Misty Moonlight". Sorry to learn of his passing.

Is it true that "Primrose Lane" was used as the theme to an old ABC TV series in the late 60's/early 70's which starred Henry Fonda called "The Smith Family"?

The song was the theme but I don't remember well enough to say if it was the version by Jerry Wallace.

I do also remember "In The Misty Moonlight" quite well. He was a good singer but never got to super stardom, just the luck of the draw I guess.
