Obit: John Hart at 91...the other "Lone Ranger"

He was also the father of kid actor Buddy Hart, who played Chester
(I think he was Wally's friend) in the early seasons of "Leave It To
Beaver." He once said he wasn't too unhappy when Clayton Moore
returned as the Lone Ranger (I'm not certain but I don't think he felt
it advanced his career).

I have seen some of John Hart's episodes of the Lone Ranger He seemed very stiff and uncomfortable. Especially when he wore disguises, such as an old prospector, or a Mexican bandito. -something that Clayton Moore excelled in. Clayton Moore just seemed like he was having a ball playing the Lone Ranger. I have seen John Hart in other roles and he was fine. The good part about the John Hart episodes is that they depended on Jay Silverheels to do more.
