Obit: KPFA's "Doug Of Edwards", 80

Born Earland Edwards in the Harlem section of New York, KPFA's jazz jock - who was known to refer to himself as a "jazz activist" - passed away over the weekend. He had hosted a weekly jazz program on late Saturday nights on KPFA (94.1) for over thirty years, and was a jazz personality on San Francisco radio for close to forty years.
