Obit: Madelyn Pugh Davis, 90; "I Love Lucy" Writer

One of her jobs was to test the stunts that Lucy was to do,
in order to see if a woman could do them. I wouldn't be at
all surprised if she went into that wine vat herself.

BTW, she was also married briefly to Quinn Martin; he was
producing "The Untouchables" for Desilu at the time (this was
before he started his own company and put his first show, "The
New Breed," on ABC in 1961).

Doris Singleton who played Caroline Appleby is still with us as is Keith Thibodeaux who played Little Ricky. Other than those two...thats about it. Well other than Desi Arnaz Jr since was in the last episode of I Love Lucy. There is some irony here as Desi Jr. and Keith have since discontinued their friendship ever since Keith's bio several years back which kinda painted both Lucie and Desi Jr. as being not excatly the most Christian of people.
