Actor John Zaccaro died March 21 in Los Angeles. He was 72.

Born in New York, Zaccaro started acting on TV during the 1960s, appearing in shows including "Maverick," "The Untouchables," "Burke's Law," "My Favorite Martian," "Ben Casey," "Hawaiian Eye" and "Gunsmoke."

I saw this and KNEW I remembered that name from somewhere...I scanned the Variety article, and apparently this was not the John Zaccaro who was married to Geraldine Ferraro (Walter Mondale's running mate in 1984.)
