Maybe it is all this sunshine and 80 degree weather this week but it has me making these observations:
Kid Stevens - It would be so great to hear him on the radio. I loved his stint at KTAR, didn't care too much for the Kid and Ruben re experience at Jamz but did like them on Kiss. Kid deserves to be on talk radio. Too bad KTAR can't replace some unnamed syndicated show for some local 602-480-623 flava
Movin - Time for either a name change or to redefine what type of music you are going to play. It sounds like you tapped into some of my ipod and just pressed random. Define your music, define your competition or niche in the market and go after it. You can't be everything to everyone
KTAR Morning News - Always curious, how many listeners like this show. I do find myself tuning in if I haven't had a chance to watch any news or get online in the morning but I wonder if you polled KTAR insider members on what they want to hear in am drive, would it be this? If not, what would it be?
Beth and Company - Is this a long term fix or will they find her a new co host. I wouldn't mind if they kept it like this and invited tv personalities and other phx celebrities in to dish with Beth in am drive
JJ and Rich - I have given it a good month or two but I think the extra music disrupts the flow of their show. They are a entertainment/pop culture type of show. I just find myself finding other options when they go into break now because I know we got commericals and now one or two songs after that. I tune into them for the show content not music. I wonder how many others out there feel the same way
Orangic Tracks/Acoustic - Love this show on sunday over at the peak. Would love if some how they could incorporate this into a daily feature. It be kinda cool to have acoustic sunset or something in that vain. I just love acoustic rock and find myself wanting more than the weekly showcase.
Ok that is about it for now.. time to go take the dog for a walk and enjoy our wonderful az sunshine ;-)
