Ocala 1290AM

As someone who is in Savannah, I wish our local 1290 would use this opportunity to boost its signal.....

1290 is officially deleted according to the FCC database. I e-mailed them a couple of months ago and they told me a certified letter was sent to the licensee over a year ago and they never got a response. The said the license was within a couple of days of being permanently deleted. In fact, they told me it was too close to deletion that an STA would not be issued to get the station back on.

Here is the statement off the FCC database:

"Deleted facility record.
Deleted facilities cannot be reactivated. Interested parties must file an
application for construction permit during the approprate AM application
filing window."

Guess "That's All Folks"!!
