KJR is fine for now. KUBE flipped because it was arguably one of the poorest performing stations in the market near the end of its life. Sports on FM will be good for sales, regardless of how many listeners it has next to KIRO. With all of that being said, the on-air product on 93.3 is weaker than KIRO, and they’ve got work to do if they want to continue improving the station. The only way it flips is if there is a glaring format hole in the market (as of now, no such hole exists).

I've never used the term "fluke book", Bobcat. Spoken word stations have always had lower ratings during the Holidays. That's an age old fact. Also why talk stations feature a lot of best-of shows, scheduling talent out until after New Year.
