Back when Al Gardner hosted the morning show it was more hard news and less fluff. Now it is more folksy, laid back, and everybody loves everybody and wants to make everybody feel good. It seems a bit sophomoric at times. They need a curmudgeon on there to counterbalance and offset the prevailing point of view. Someone like Robert D. Raiford, may he rest in peace. He always had something to say, even if it wasn't the prevailing popular opinion.
