October 8: This Day in TV History

In light of what occurred by Philly pitcher Roy Halliday yesterday (Oct. 6, 2010):

1956: Game 5 of the 1956 World Series, televised on NBC (announcers Mel Allen for the Yankees, and Vin Scully for the Dodgers). Yankee pitcher Don Larsen pitches the only postseason perfect game and only postseason no-hitter--until Roy Halliday's feat yesterday.
