The latest ratings for Salt Lake City are in, and they show some interesting shifts in listenership. Remember 6+ numbers are not what advertisers buy, but the 18-49 and 25-54 age group ups and downs can be mirrored in those ratings as well.
Top 5 AQH (average qtr hour): KSFI; KSL; KNRS; KZHT, KUBL
Top 5 Cume (listen at least 15 min./week, total listeners): KZHT, KSFI, KUDD, KBZN, KJMY,
Big Losers: KBEE down three consecutive months in a row. Their ratings are lower than when KOSY switched formats.Could see some changes here in the short term. Perhaps they'll switch to Christmas in November, and revamp after Christmas.
KHTB- Another station losing listeners three consecutive months in a row. Because of its weaker signal, Cumulus probably won't change formats.
KSL's cume and AQH increased significantly, but that can be attributed to BYU Football. In general, their ratings increase during the fall months due to the sports factor.
