Odd Couple and GPUSMC

Is the Odd Couple with Jack Klugman and Tony Randall and Gomer Pyle USMC on any cable networks or regular television. If not, is any station in the works to put them on, also is The Nostalgia Network still in existence, my cable company took them off in 1993 and I have not heard anything from them since. They showed some cool reruns.

Don't know about cable networks, but I do know that both shows are available in broadcast syndication for local stations that might be interested in carrying them. "The Odd Couple" is available on a barter basis from the Program Exchange, and "Gomer Pyle" is available for cash from Paramount Domestic Television.

So, depending on where you live, perhaps one option may be for one of your local stations to pick up one or both of these shows. Unfortunately, I know that isn't something you can make happen...it isn't just a matter of phoning your favorite TV station and making a request.

I believe the Nostalgia Channel became GoodLife TV (which was targeted at the over-50 demographic) and is now American Life TV, targeted at older baby boomers.

The Odd Couple has been shown late nights on WPIX-TV 11 New York until recently..They may still be showing it..WPIX is part of Dish Network's "superstation" package so those that have Dish could get the show if they wanted

We get the Odd Couple on WWME-CA Channel 23 once a week on Sundays. I wish it was more often I love that show.

I was wondering about The Odd Couple's 1st season on DVD. Why is Time-Life carrying the distribution rights of the DVD instead of Paramount Home Video?

And speaking of Gomer Pyle, the 1st season DVD will be out in December and on the same day as the Andy Griffith Show's 8th and final season comes out on DVD.

Maybe due to the fact that CBS now owns the series (and all others in the Paramount family) afiter last year's Viacom split. Apparently, CBS can now choose anyone they want to distribute their shows, not just Paramount. Hence, they selected Time Life for Odd Couple.

If you are intrested in seeing gomer and my 3 sons and others via the RTN you can buy a FTA sat system and its and all Equity stations are on Galaxy 10 sat. all for free and legal. I have one and its simply great!!!! best 300 bucks I ever spent.
