Why does this "Natalie" girl on Sam Malone's show sound exactly like Sharon Shock and where is Sharon Shock on The Buzz and NBC and other CC stations?
She hasn't been doing traffic on KTBZ afternoons in a while...
hmmmm...
I've been trying to pinpoint why Natalie's voice sounded familiar--I've been listening to Sam Malone this week to reach a conclusive opinion on his new show...still formulating it...
It's just weird because they sound exactly alike...maybe some help could be offered on this one...

Probably because it's the same person. Traffic people have multiple identities to fit whatever format they happen to be reporting for at a given time.

Not necessarily, I have heard Katrena Fulda doing traffic reports on Country Legends 97.1 and 106.9 The Point. Laura Reynolds does traffic for KILT AM and FM. Not all of them have more than one name.

You can also hear Katrina doing the "News" on the New 93Q and, on rare occasion, "Traffic" (for Steve Rubin [a/k/a Stewart Russell]) on KLDE.

That's why this is so strange.

And Natalie doesn't just read automated traffic reports. She is Sam's sidekick, filling in the role Maria Todd would have played.

I've heard of many traffic "reporters" switching names and identities to fit formats and DJ's changing names to do different weekday afternoon or weekend stints.

Seldom have I heard of a TV personality who was on TV by the name "Sharon Shock" go from an afternoon gig reading a 30 second traffic report every 45 minutes to being a full time morning show co-host.

The picture of Natalie on the website doesn't exactly match the photo in my head of Sharon Shock.
If you ever saw Sharon on KPRC, she was SMOKING HOT (please excuse the pre-pubescent, immature language but it is appropriate here).

Just an odd happening that has me stumped.

i've wondered also....

she use to flirt with Whip in ther afternoons. she got boring with Don Jantzen.
I thought you might have known she was the CC traffic girl. She is/was Sharon Shock/Natalie O'Neil. run down the hall and change names.

she never worked at KPRC-TV. Don Armstrong was the main traffic guy. I don't think she ever was on tv. I thought that was another blonde.
