Of those jocks fired over the last 12 months....

Marty Riemer, B. Rivers (not necessarily fired but contact impasse) + team, Slaton are a few.
Mark Christopher rehired to music/then talk
Not sure about the sports folks. Gregg Hersholt to PDX.
Most KIRO staffers (producers/reporters) picked up by KOMO.

I guess Rob Tepper doesn't count, as he's been on the beach (or playing poker) for > 12 months.

Is Rivers the only one not voice tracking?

Rob Tepper is national now, so he' set.

J.J. should move back here to the Seattle area and help with KMCQ.

Hey I would LOVE to be a part of KMCQ....I am over in Seattle regularly and really enjoy the music---it's all the fun stuff I grew up with much the way KJR-FM was when it was "Superhits Of The 60's & 70's." I had sooooooooooo much fun on the air there and it showed. I was listening to some of my KJR-FM airchecks last night and probably I sounded the best I ever had! Those were very very fun days!!!

Don't believe I will be "on the beach" too long.....we shall see!!

No offense, I am sorry for J.J. but there is great talent in Seattle that are out of work too.

I like KMCQ the way it is, except for the audio but read on their facebook page they are getting a new processor and also not hiring.

New processor for KMCQ? Hot diggity dog!

Speaking of KMCQ, does anyone have any idea why they are listed under the Yakima market not the Seattle market on the Tunein app?

KMCQ was a move-in to Seattle from The Dalles, OR and has been since the mid 2000's. It's outdated information. LONG outdated. You'd be better off Googling stations directly than using sites/apps like Tunein.....

Hmm. Will have to give the folks over at First Broadcasting a hard time about that one, at least they have the streaming link right. Actually, the app says Covington, WA when you click to listen to KMCQ. Here's another one I don't understand, CKKQ - Victoria booms in here in Edmonds, yet CKPK, which is unlistenable down here is listed under local radio, not CKKQ.

FYI, it's Queen City Broadcasting LLC that now owns KMCQ. I don't think they even have anything to do with the app you're using

KMCQ remains for sale. Queen Cities is the reciever running it until they can get it sold for the bank that took it over from First.
