Off Frequency on 1210

There appears to be another instance of off-frequency operation, this time on 1210. I have been hearing this in the Chicago area every night for weeks now. The heterodyne peaks to the SE/NW for me. I have not been able to ID the source. Anybody else hearing this besides me?

I've heard this, too. It's been there for several weeks, if not longer. From Lexington, KY it seems to be located North or South of me. I suspect it might be WDGR in Dahlonega, GA, which is supposed to be a DAYTIMER on 1210, but its on all night and it is quite strong at times.

It's widely believed in the NRC that this is indeed WDGR. My observations are certainly consistent with that.

I think this may be fixed now but I am not sure, due to the fact that we had unusual propagation in the midwest for the past few days. Is anyone still hearing it?

NE NC still hearing het 400 Hz tone under WPHT. It has been stronger on previous evenings.

Still hearing the het tonight but, much weaker. They must have dropped their power.
