Offensive

It's hard to believe a standards format would have offensive material, but I guess the format is from an era when such things were acceptable.

"We Are Siamese" is from "Lady and the Tramp" but it's not even a pleasant song to listen to, which is the whole point of standards. Without the scene from the movie, it doesn't have a lot of value. And the cats aren't even cute.

I'm curious how iHeartRadio would have even had something like this. It's not like it was a big hit.
 
It was sung by Peggy Lee (double-tracking both parts), so maybe it ended up on one of her compilation CDs and whoever was putting together the playlist meant to include a different Peggy Lee song.

Especially these days when most Standards stations are almost entirely automated, such mistakes can happen.

Actually I don't find that nearly as "offensive" or unpleasant as Adele. I'd rather listen to nails on a blackboard for seven hours.
