Offer made on KTIB Thibodaux of $550k

An offer by an unknown named person(s) has been made to La-Terr for all the assets to KTIB minus the building the station's building.

Vincent Bruno and John Treen were told by the bankruptcy court that a $200k deposit would stop bancurptcy proceedings and place the sale on hold but haven't as of the Wednesday deadline.

Vincent Bruno said that he will hopefully have it settled in court by the time the license comes up for changing.

this isnt true either :)

It featured music from the 1930s, ’40s and ’50s, as well as local talk shows??? it was oldies before going newstalk in 03...or was it 04??

It did feature a local talk show called Dialogue for years and I think it was local in the mornings under the oldies.

It was country in the Late 70s-early 80s before becoming oldies I think soon after their flip to 640am from 630 around 1986 (I may be wrong on the timeframe)

The oldies were 50s-60s fare I think sat fed into the studios. The only time it was standards was the day they ran it recently to keep the license current that I am aware of.

and the newstalk would be 2004.. It's a shame how it has been run down now... Hell the Oldies 640 chevy van is still parked on the bayouside in Thibodaux where it probably hasn't moved in about 2 years.
