Its over I am done as of today i am done with the radio/tv business in today's world I got no chance in making it so Thanks to everyone who helped and listened and tried to guide me in the right direction its all ovvvvvvveeeeeeerrrrrrrr!!!!!!

Man... NEVER give up! We are losing loads of people everyday. At least keep in the biz in some sort of fashion, it's hard to get back in when you're out for awhile. But if that's you decision to retire from the radio biz, tell Phillips we all said hello ;)

yeah mike make sure the attention is all on you we just had a major dj die and you have to pump yourself up on the board nobody cares go away

What about the 50,000-watt part 15 transmitter and tower were going to erect overlooking Passyunk ave. in S. Philly, complete with deluxe ground system, for that genuine clear channel tropo propagation. I thought all you were waiting for was FAA clearance for the tower. Now your dreams are dust. I guess it’s back to playing 45’s in the basement. I hope you kept a few spindles.

No, no, no, Sam ...

You got the wrong guy! That guy (doowopvault) has found baby Jesus and has been pretty good since looking for that old WPHT ground system copper and didn't quite get that Part 15 going. Beer-sales at Citizens Bank Park will do that -- standing in the way of a lucrative career in Part 15 AM radio. "Quiet numbskulls -- I'm Broadcastin'!" (Three Stooges)

This guy, a former best friend, is also a beermeister for the Phils and has been running "77 The Thrill" from fabulous Port Richmond, via cell phone or something for two months. Me thinks he got bounced off his "carrier" (www.nolisteners.com) when what listeners he thought he had demanded money just to listen to his tirades.

So, it's back to rebuilding that 9-tower, 3-meter tall array with a Radio Shack discount disco board (with "Crossover"!) into a WalMart computer, WinAmp and a Shure "Hi-Ball" mike.

As for HD ... that effort may have to be put on hold for now, due to lack of interest. Be well.

Yo Oak! Oh, you’re right. It was the beer concessionaire profession association that got me all confused. Yea, this is the guy that a few threads back claimed he broke the all time single listener records for one sitting. Now I know what he meant by single listener.

Gee, I am really looking forward to a 9 tower part 15 array, in South Philly, complete with landing lights. I just bought myself a new handy dandy crystal radio. That disco mixer is gonna sound great on this.

Well, radiofan, I wish you all the best and also all the punctuation you need.
