Ogg Vorbis, bit & sample rates

I am experimenting with Ogg Vorbis, lossy - not lossless, encoding.

What bitrates and sample rates have you found suitable for your archival purposes? (If mentioning MP3 rates please specify that they are MP3.)

Right now my focus is AM, mono/talk, stations but AM, mono/music, and FM, music/mostly stereo, stations will soon follow.
