From allaccess.com...Alan Burns talks about the MOViN' format, and why it's "failing" everywhere BUT Seattle??

"Yet KQMV/SEATTLE has a tremendous morning show..."

Funny...didn't he get dumped as a consultant over at the Sandusky building right after they blew out the old morning show?

And WHERE did "The Ladies Room" end up in the ratings?

Yeah yeah yeah...give them a year to "establish themselves." I'm sure I'll get crucified for this, but so be it: If you're going to blow out your first morning guy after 6 months and bill the NEXT show as the best thing since sliced bread, you'd better be confident that THIS is what's going to work.

And it isn't working. The ratings prove it. And not JUST in mornings.

I just enjoy getting a rise out of Momma. ;D

dude. When will we be done talking about the old morning show?

It's always pertinent to talk about how they hired Pat Clark and then kicked him to the curb without giving him the tools or even an opportunity to succeed.

right. totally. how could I have been so stupid as to not realize that the answer is never. never. ever. yay!!!

Hey - as long as Sandusky's management keeps making boneheaded decisions - we'll keep talking about 'em. YAY! Wise up, youngster!

are you suggesting that getting rid of the old morning show was a mistake?

if you mean Murdock, Hunter & Alice ... then that would be a BIG "yessirreebob". ;)

Wasn't that when the downward spiral REALLY started!!! The 300 morning shows (and half as many formats) since have not really moved the needle all that much!!

Correctamundo, LBB. Offing MH&A has to be one of the stupidest decisions ever. Period. And not giving Pat Clark a chance to develop an audience (and not promoting the show) is right up there too.

I don't think all the promotions in the world would have helped Pat Clark. That doesn't mean he's not talented. But I don't think he was a good for the format or mornings.
