Oh Citadel

I just heard what could have been the "best" :D radio to come out of the LV ever.So I am driving around on in my car on a Sunday just after noon & tune in to LEV.And what do I hear? NOTHING! Dead air.I say to myself, that's strange. So for some strange reason I switch to good old Cat Country.WOW! They have music on......and the Citadel test channel from New York. And how do I know this?Because they told us for 15 minutes. And then Kevin Moore telling us something. The vision in my mind was this "former part timer" trying to fix this mess.Laura St James PD for LEV,who has done a great job so far in getting this station back up & running, pulling her hair out.Bob Adams on his cell phone yelling @ someone.Maybe "Uncle" Jerry.Sales people on Monday morning trying to hold on to accounts. In other words,c'mon Citadel.Get your act togeather.Things where going great & one little mistake screws everything up.And to the people who will say that I am being mean on this part timer.Guess what. There is a reason why they are part time.Get over it. :-*

And your point is? LIke there has never been a technical problem ever in the Clear Channel or Nassau buildings. It happens. Nobody lost their life. The Delaware River didn't overflow its banks and put that McDonalds in Easton underwater again.

Yes, you are being nit picky for no real reason...unless you are a former Citadel employee with an axe to grind.

sounds to me the first 'live' person to the building to fix the problem wins!!!
what they win i have no clue..................
in my 'early' days at wzzo we took bets everytime a thunderstorm rolled in WHEN we'd get kicked off the air............not if, WHEN..........

Ahhhhh, who needed a storm? In MY early days at WSAN, it took an unlocked door and a drunk to overtake Jon Flook and the airwaves. Guy kept tracking an album, starting and stopping songs. Summer 1980.

Wow Seltzer,u went the ex employee route.Nice one, winner :D.Dead air & audio bleed over in the same building at the same time on two stations should not happen at all.Radio is a product & a business.Do u here that type of garbage in Philly? No.The powers that may be @ Citadel Allentown are doing a great job right now.But when all this work is undone by some pt lackey, then heads have to roll.If the product is good, the public listens & the money comes in.Simple :-*

My point again is, unfortunately, **** happens. You make it sound like the part timer caused the problem. I highly doubt this is the case. No one ever wants these kind of problems to occur. Do you believe any cable company that actually aired porn by accident on a family channel planned it? We're human. Accidents happen. Heads aren't going to roll over this.

hey dave radio, didn't somebody take over steve kingston's show one overnite on wxkw?
i had only heard that story..............
